R.M. "Marty" McCaleb
Here at R.M. McCaleb Transportation Co. the reason for our success is simple. We do what we say we will do. We hold customer service as one of our top priorities, and we strive everyday to do the best we can do.
"Marty" McCaleb, the owner, knows how important home time is. You will not find him in the office like you would a normal owner. He spends his days still behind the wheel. Still interacting with customers on a daily basis.
R.M. McCaleb Transport traces it’s origins to September of 1989 when Marty McCaleb (R.M) decided to try his hand at being a truck driver. He began by hauling milk for farmers locally and he made some life long friends along the way. After a few years he made a change and entered the flatbed business. Still in touch with the farmer, he brought weekly loads of alfalfa hay from out west back home to local customers. Growing his business slowly, he added more trucks to the fleet and purchased a few dry van trailers.
Then the produce world presented an opportunity that he had always wanted to try. He invested in a few refrigerated trailers and never looked back. Marty grew his trucking company with drivers that held his same integrity.
Eventually two of his three sons would join the family business. Jake McCaleb as the Load Operations Manager and Jonah McCaleb as the Maintenance Manager.
At R.M McCaleb Transportation Company we take care of the customer, we keep our word, and do what we say will do. That has been the backbone of our success and we continue daily to strive to be better.
